I'm kinda surprised this topic hasn't come up yet...or maybe I just overlooked it in my current state of exhaustion.

SO...what's your favorite song on Love Is Gone and why?

Mine is 'Honestly' and I'm not sure if I can really explain why in a way that makes sense.

The first time I heard it was when it got posted on Myspace for a week. I remember keeping it on repeat for that entire week, and when I bought the album it was still the song that I connected with the most. It also happens to be my favorite song to hear live. I listen to it whenever I'm anxious or upset because it calms me down.

Oh and the line, "honestly you are killing me" is so incredibly chilling! I love it

My husband's is "Honestly." He sings it all the time. :)

I think mine would have to be "Without End" or "Remember". I'm in love with the first verse of "Without End". The lyrics are just so amazing. And "Remember" has just the raw emotion in all the words it makes me shiver. :)

@taintedglamour: Awesome! I also love the pure emotion in "Remember"...for some reason I love listening to it when I'm driving by myself on road trips, it's very therapeutic lol

Closure because I can identify with it the most.

Mine has to be Without End, I has very good reason for such, but takes way too long to type out, so will do it later when I have time.

Well lets see... My favorite song on the album is Honestly. I've got time to burn so I'll lay it out for ya.

I can relate to this song a lot because I've been in a serious relationship for the past 6 years, I can feel that the end is getting closer and closer at the minutes pass by, the end is so close once June comes the lease is up for the house and we'll more then likely be going our separate ways. The love is still there but it's almost hard to see or feel.... After being with him for this long I feel that I've lost a side of me that he took, not intentionally though. I heard and hear the same complaints day in and day out, so I started to change who I was to "better myself" but realized after sometime that I've lost the best part about who I was, what made me Me. We can never seem to get on the same page, let alone the same chapter. Which is killing me, well.. it's killing Us. His "ghost wont leave my side", there will always be a soft special spot for him in my heart but I need to start turning to another chapter in my life that unfortunately doesn't involve him. Though the shadows that lay within him hide who I once used to be, won't hide 'me' anymore in due time. This song, along with almost the entire album, helps me deal with some of the situations in our relationship, helps me calm down a little bit and know that I'm am not the only one who's felt or feeling like this. I mean I know that everyone has felt like this at some point in their life but I guess since there is only me and him, I feel like I'm struggling alone. Sort of makes me feel that they're right there going through these tough times with me.

Also, please, pretty please I want no 'sorry to hear about your situation'-not my intention to be searching for sympathy, many Thanks! =)

Well now.. I've dropped the mood...so to bring it back up think about little kids swearing (cause its funny as hell!) or how bulldogs snore when they sleep..or something...

Mine are “I still lost” and “without end” just because they have amazing lyrics that I seem to start singing at random intervals throughout the dayi especially love the line 'let's drink up the blood of young innocent love'

Mine's possibly New... I don't know why yet...

@DTS ARCH ANGEL: thank you for sharing what I'm sure is a very personal situation for you. I can also relate to Honestly in many of the same ways you mentioned because of my previous relationship, which is probably why I instantly connected with that song. You just explained it better than I ever could have :)

@ Skelena Misfit: I would love to hear your 'why' if/when you figure it out. New became the song that helped me end a relationship that had gone stale. I found myself listening to it over and over on repeat, and one day I realized that I just needed to end this relationship that was going nowhere and where there was no love. I needed "someone new"

Mine are Making the Most and Without End, well at least right now. It tends to change.

Making the Most is one of my favorites, because the lyrics really speak to where I am right now in my life. Sometimes the words sound like something taken from my own journal.

I like Without End because of the playful lyrics. Its a fun song to sing along to.

@JShomp-Sure thing.. I'm becoming more open with talking about my current situation though it's very personal and difficult.. sort of helps in a way to start feeling comfortable with the realization of it if I talk about it openly, even with strangers, plus it does me no good to keep it bottled up inside. That will just make me more crazy than I already am.
