January 33rd (Feb 2)

A day dedicated to random acts of kindness and charity.

So often in our fast paced society, we forget that the reach of a helping hand goes far beyond the person to whom it was extended. Whether it’s helping someone carry groceries to their car, buying a stranger lunch or simply holding the door open for someone – these unexpected acts not only leave someone feeling better about their day, it also inspires them to do the same for someone else.

Together, Dommin and the dedicated members of the DD33 have chosen January 33rd – a day undercover on its own – to show the world that kindness and charity can inspire awareness not through fiery soapbox speeches and public displays, but covertly and anonymously.

If you’ve found yourself here, perhaps you’ve been on the receiving end of a random act of kindness. Now we challenge you to think about our message and join our cause. Compliment a stranger on their smile, offer your seat to someone who has been standing or arrive early and bring coffee into the office. You’ll be amazed at how effortless it is to brighten someone else’s day by simply taking a look around you.

Well...I don't get to leave the house much so I didn't get to go anywhere today but I would've been MORE than happy to do these things if I had've! Does the thought count in this case?

i payed for breakfast at the drive-thru for the car behind me in line for Dommin day. the cashier was very nice and put a dommin flyer in their bag. she also commented on what a nice thing that was to do for someone. it was a great feeling. a true gift it giving and expecting nothing in return. one gets so much more! thanks for Dommin and the positivity you help create.

Good stuff. I try to make that a daily thing. Take care of people, and the universe will take care of you.

@81BloodyKisses: You're welcome!!! You got that right...especially when you end up dealing with someone who doesn't appreciate it.
