When I first listened to My Heart, My Your Hands I thought the line was "loves in your grip" instead of "closing your grip" lol

I can name one person who should have filled about ten pages by now.....

I can't think of any lyrics I've misheard at the moment (kinda sleepy, lol), but earlier today, I was singing 'Dark Holiday' while checking my Facebook and I realized I was messing up the lyrics as I was singing... This is what I sang...

"I'm watchin' us all.... REGENERATE!"

Apparently I was in need of some healing... Hmm... Maybe I should have been listening to 'Tonight' instead... *giggle giggle*

In MHYH, there's the line "I'm so afraid that you'll leave me cold." and every time, without fail (or end I should say), I always hear "come" instead of cold. And then I giggle to myself for a good minute.

This isn't so much a misheard lyric as a mental block on my part, but when I'm singing along to Without End I *always* sing 'pure innocent love' instead of 'young'. I *know* what the word is, yet every time I sing it wrong. Truly, I am a knob.

@little baby nothing: You're not the only one I have a really bad habit of doing that on Dark Holiday. In stead of saing "inviting ~ out to play" I always say bringing ~ out to play; then start beating myself up for it Cause I know better. ..... and now have Dark Holiday on repeat in my head. the ending to be specific. bump bu-ba bum ba da na na

alright, i can only say i have one misheard lyric.

the song "one feeling" was my favorite live dommin song the first four times i saw them (april and october) and it was actually the reason i went looking for mend your misery. i just HAD to have it on my ipod. between hearing it live and watching recordings of it on youtube, i had most of it memorized. my FAVORITE lyric was the beginning of the second verse...or what i thought it was. for some reason, when kris sings it live, i hear "you can waste all the time that you want to but i'm not me unless i'm following you"

which actually gave me chills. so relevant to my existence. =D

'course now that i have both the MYM and the LIG versions of One Feeling, i know that i had it wrong. but i like mine better

I used to think it was "but it's not me that ends up following you". Kris has a soft voice in parts where the words aren't as easily discernible.
