Message from Kristofer

Well, it’s been a long time since we’ve reached out to our fans in an official way and there are plenty of reasons for that.  As a band, the past 2 years have been somewhat of a dark time.  The “powers that be” have kept us in a limbo, neither moving forward nor letting us go.  And even when we were able to break free in September, there were a whole lot of strings attached.

But here we are, with an album of recorded but unmixed songs that we’ve FINALLY been given permission to release (contract pending).  Our hope is to find a label to help us finish this album and release it.  Or we may turn to you, our fans, via Kickstarter to see if we can reach a monetary goal so that we can mix and release the album ourselves.

As a band, we’ve had to do what we can to make ends meet.  While those who hold our master recordings take their sweet time, we’ve had to find other work and make other plans with our lives in order to keep on livin’.

Frankly, I’m just tired of waiting any longer.  I’m a song guy.  It’s what I do.  It’s what I live and breathe.  And I’m not going to continue to live my life on someone else’s timetable.

So if you care to hear what I’ve been doing, I’m going to post some home recordings I’ve made for you all to enjoy.  I’ll try to get a new song up once a week or every other week.  I might do a live cover, a new version of a Dommin song, or post a completely unheard demo.

So FOLLOW me on Twitter (@Dommin), LIKE us on Facebook, get on the email list, SUBSCRIBE to the YouTube Channel or just come back to Dommin.Com and check in so you can enjoy the music.

I hope everyone is doing alright out there.  Hopefully we’ll get to see you very soon.

Be well and God bless.
Until we meet again…

    Welcome back!

You hooked me in Nov 2010 on the tour with Birthday Massacre and I’ve been waiting with baited breath for 2.5 years for more.

    Kill it!

Please do a kickstarter. You should check out what amanda palmer was able to do with hers. radio and mtv really mean nothing anymore. Record labels are pointless and a pain. You are amazingly talented andhave a wonderful voice.

I am so sorry to hear all the B.S you guys have had to go through. I think that you should definitely start a kickstarter account and see if fans take the bait. In the meantime I will spread the video around on Social Media site and try to get more people to spread the word. Keep your heads up guys! You guys will get through this and find the right company that will see your greatness and it will be all uphill from there. *hugs

It’s so good to see you all again!
I’m sorry things with Roadrunner went wrong and that they are treating you so badly by holding onto your music.
It will pass and your fans will walk with you.
I’m super excited by the hope of new music and would be willing to pay to download – no gifts needed guys – let us help.
With all good things coming your way even if the horizon seems a long distance
    Peace at your hearths
    M xxxx

I hope, with every power, you guys can pull through. We are your fans, and would be very upset to see any major set backs that keep you from the music you love to make and we love to hear. Ask, and I’m sure we’ll all be there to help, just name it!

I am sure all of your fans would be willing to support you guys on kickstarter! Of course we are all excited to hear a new album and see you guys back on the stage but we understand how hard it must be for you guys without a record company. Without the RIGHT record company, not one that will try to control your creative process and make unreasonable demands of you. We support you and you will ALWAYS have that!

You guys should do a Kickstarter to get the money to make the album.

Also, if you are ever in the Denver area and need a photographer, I’d do the work for free.

Kris, I’m elated! I think I can speak for all of us when I say, “Bring it on!”. You know we’re willing to support you 100% (and I don’t mind throwing a monetary donation in here and there. Consider it down payment for when you finally come back to Michigan? ;P) And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! <3
