@Dommin Momma - Gotta keep the positive to attract the positive!!
@Kristofer Dommin - A bit behind responding to this one, but the joy of working retail means you DON'T get an extended holiday break...blargh. Christmas Eve was pretty cool. I spent it with my roommate and her kiddos. The only major fiasco was trying to order lunch for delivery....we either lived "to far north", or places were closed. After an hour we finally just said screw it and ordered from Chili's and the roommie went and picked it up. I am SERIOUSLY thinking about starting a take out taxi in this damned town. We exchanged prezzies at around 6, and it was a blast seeing her little girl react to all of her goodies. After that my fiance came over at around 11:30p to spend the night so we could have time together as well. We exchanged gifts too, and then crapped out. Next day we went and spent the entire day with his folks. It was really nice. Breakfast, presents, tv, dinner, and then off to look at Christmas lights.
While we were out driving around I got to thinking about a lot of things. This year was the first year in a very long time that actually had the feeling that the holiday did when I was a kid, not to mention how amazing everyone treated me. I bawled like a baby. And ladies, take note: Trying to convince your man that you crying is actually a GOOD thing is difficult to do....lol.
As for what I got, I'm not going to list it all here. Between my Mom, Matt, the in-laws-to-be, my roommate, the roommate's fam, and my second family....I felt like a queen. I can honestly say that I am extremely humbled by how much they showered me with. It's part of why I cried on Christmas. I love every bit of it, but....yeah...it's just little old me.
The best thing that I got this year though was the feeling of family and love that has been missing from the majority of Christmases in my adult life. Learning the holiday traditions of my fiance's family, and sharing the ones from mine with him. Not to mention getting to catch up with all of my lovely Domminites and our beautiful gents. Kris, Cam, Billy, Konsta....having you all around the board the last couple of weeks made for a perfect gift in and of itself.
Here is to a New Year without limits for Dommin and Domminites alike!
